Please share your experience of training under your idol “Suresh Wadkar”.

Suresh Wadkarji as person is very kind hearted and a great personality. Sureshji taught me the sense of music and the soul of music. For me, he is my idol and my guru. I have learnt a lot from him and continue to learn and be inspired by him.

What was your experience of being finalist in Indian Idol (Season 1) and sharing the stage with Abhijeet Sawant?

Abhijeet Sawant is like my buddy “Vo toh bachha hai mera”. I enjoyed my days of Indian Idol season 1 a lot. Sharing stage with Abhijeet Sawant was an amazing experience.

Tell us about your first and immensely hit album ‘ Tera Intezaar?’ How was the experience?

Tera Intezaar was my debut album and the songs were indeed soul touching. The album was a chartbuster hit and I am thankful to my fans for showering their love and appreciating my work with such a spectacular response. .

Share your experience of being India’s first singing superstar in Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar and Maha-Mukabala.

My experience of winning Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar was good and a victory that I will cherish forever. It was an honor for me that Shankar Mahadevan was my mentor in the music reality show ‘Music Ka Maha-Mukabala’. Winning the title was an icing on the cake and I indeed consider myself blessed.

Can you tell us about your upcoming projects?

As you all know that I mostly do live performances. I have done around 1200 shows across the globe and really enjoy doing such performances. Now from December I will be away from home doing shows all over India and world.

I will be doing 22 shows in December, 17 shows in January and 12 shows in February. These three months I will be enjoying my shows and interacting with my fans which itself will add a mesmerizing and rocking moment in my life.

Share your experience as a playback singer?

I have done playback for films like Shaddi No. 1, Jigyaasa, Jaan-E- Jaan, Krazzy 4 and Race 2 till now. Rather than doing playback in one room, I enjoy my live shows as I get to interact with thousands of my loving fans.
